One More Breath ~ Let’s Help India Breathe campaign was launched on May 6, 2021 via the Canada Branch. Our team is collecting funds from Canada and the United States to support India in their fight against the 2nd COVID wave.
We are partnering with SEWA International to raise money through GoFundMe. The money we raise will help bring oxygen generators to Sangli, a rural area in Maharashtra, India. The equipment will be shipped to multiple relief camps in Sangli that are providing numerous COVID services to the locals. All of the funds collected through this GoFundMe will be transferred to SEWA International so they can buy and ship oxygen generators to Sangli, India on our behalf.
Our goal is to raise $5,000, which will help us provide 5 oxygen generators with the necessary equipment. Each oxygen generator will be packed with 10 sets of pipes, masks, oximeters and thermometers. One oxygen generator will help 10 people and with our goal, we will be able to help at least 50 people in the village.

In August-September of 2019, we helped reconstruct a school into a two-story building with a water fountain accessible to clean drinking water and a bathroom.
Prior to the floods, the essential school supplies like desks and books were limited. However, after the floods, the children did not have desks, electricity or access to clean drinking water.
Our organization gathered members of the local community who were willing to help complete this project. We collected funds from family and friends in India and help re-build the school with minimal expenses.
